Ascend Mental Health & Wellness
From the Hampton & Vale development team
An existing website needed to communicate the practice’s vision more clearly and make it easier for prospective patients to find the information they needed.
The project brings together clearer service information, more prominent contact details. The focus is a welcoming website that helps visitors understand the practice and take the next step toward care.
Making search visibility easier to understand
Search engine optimization helps search engines understand what a business offers and where it operates. For a local practice, that means descriptive page titles, useful service information, clear headings, and consistent location and contact details. Search performance should then be measured through impressions, visits, and inquiries over time.
“I put so much care into building this practice, and I wanted the website to reflect that. We already had a site, but I wasn’t seeing the interest I’d hoped for, and I didn’t know what needed to change. It was frustrating to have such a clear idea of the practice in my head and feel that the website wasn’t telling that story.
What I remember most is being listened to. Hampton & Vale sat down with me, asked questions, and gave me room to explain what mattered. I could talk through an idea without having to know the technical language. When I had a question, I could speak with someone actually working on the project. That made the whole process feel much more personal.
Watching it come together was such a relief. I finally felt understood, and I felt proud to send people to the site. It meant a great deal to have people take that much care with something I had worked so hard to build.”

OREA Journal
From the Hampton & Vale development team
OREA began with a name, a clear audience, and a vision for the publication—but no website. The challenge was to turn that editorial direction into a digital platform that could reach readers and grow with the publication.
The project brings article collections, topic navigation, reader accounts, and newsletter features into one publication experience. A dedicated newsletter workflow supports preparing and reviewing content before sharing it with readers.
From a name and a vision to a publication
Topic navigation gives readers a clear path through the content. Reader accounts support an ongoing connection, while the newsletter provides a way to bring readers back to new stories. Behind the scenes, the publishing workflow helps organize that work.
“We had a name, an audience in mind, and more ideas than we knew what to do with. We could talk for hours about the publication we wanted to create. Turning those conversations into an actual website was where we kept getting stuck.
After so many late nights trying to work it out ourselves, asking for help felt like admitting we had run out of answers. Looking back, it was the best thing we could have done. Hampton & Vale took the time to understand what we were trying to say and helped us give it a shape. We weren’t losing our vision by bringing someone else in. We were finally able to see it.
There was a moment when we looked at the site and thought, yes, that’s our publication. I still remember the relief. I only wish we had reached out sooner. We could have spent more of that time on the stories and readers that brought us to this in the first place.”
